Olga Akbarova is a creative designer and illustrator based in San Jose, California. As a child, she loved colours and couldn't stop painting - it was magical to create her own whimsical worlds on paper. She studied fashion design but her passion was illustration. She began freelancing in 2018 and, since then, she has illustrated countless greeting cards and patterns, designed puzzles and fabric collections. These days, she mainly draws on her iPad, though she often incorporates watercolour hand-painted elements and textures. She is inspired by colours, California nature, coffee shops, vintage books and fabrics. She loves making joyful, whimsical and detailed art! When she's not working, she's most likely spending time with her family and friends.
